Last week we went hiking to Santa Rosa Plateau.  The day was nice and warm.  Since we don't have much to do that day, we decided to check the vernal pool because during Spring Time or after it get rained, there will be fairly shrimps at the vernal pool and of course, you can see lots of wild flowers around the area. 

My husband told me that they didn't get much rain last year and the plateau was dry. Most of the oak trees were dying. Plants and animals were thirsty.  Since we got rain this year, you can see green everywhere. I am so happy to see bed of wild flowers along the highway and I am not the only one happy but those animals, plants and flowers at the Plateau.

When I arrived here in the US, you can see the hills color brown but now, it is nice to look at because there is so much color on it. You can see the hills and side of the road with bright orange, purple and white flowers.

I like spring time!
